The most significant contributor to global warming is the meat industry, causing more greenhouse emissions than either transportation or industry according to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. For this reason, one of the single most significant environmental improvements we could make is to make the diets of the largely corn-fed livestock produce less methane.
