I understand that mobile phone manufacturers like Nokia already experiment with coating whole phone innards with waterproof layer, that would automagically make the whole phone waterproof. Drop it into water, use it underwater, etc. No case needed.

I had gone to this event, last night, called gdgt Boston, where a company called SEIDO, showcased their product which resolves the problem. They have launched their product for S3 but will be coming up with their waterproof case for Iphone by December, of this year.
