Name brainstorming service

how much would you be willing to pay for this service? say the service would provide you with 10 names, but you will pay in advance, i.e. you would not be able to say "i do not like those 10, give me another 10" (otherwise it would really not be acceptable for the provider)

no need for such service imho. what works for me is to browse some encyclopedia that is relevant to scope of a project in question and sift through the names of entries. e.g. browse some article names of investopedia if I work on a financial or business project.
personally, I would not pay for such service anything, I would however like to see the process I described automated.

I believe that coming up with a good name is actually very personal thing - i.e. I believe that the team behind a project/company/product has to feel real ownership and has to have its heart in the name. Not sure whether a substantial number of people would like to have somebody else come up with a name. I see it something similar as somebody else coming up with a name for your child - not sure how many people would like to have this.

Have you checked out Squadhelp.com? I have used them and received 330 name suggestions in 3 days. Some of them were useless but a good number were really really good. Definitely worth the $80 I paid for the whole thing.
