Users of a website can get rid of unwanted things by posting them on a website and giving it a "virtual price". When someone "virtually buys it" (but without actually paying to the "seller", just picking it up), this virtual credit can be used to "purchase" another item offered by another member.

There are 2 initial members 'A' and 'B'.
'A' wants something from 'B', so where will come 'A' credit from? What if 'A' gets what he wants and will abandon his own account?

Don't worry. Currency is printed from the air and represent "credit" of people as some value in the real world. I had the same question unresolved years ago to start learning economy. Well, that's one of fundamental difference between science and economy.
