I like this idea. Only seems more simple to me to ask them about possible franchising for Czech Republic. To build this from scratch means to be backed up by tons of Mentors and Investors.
I agree with you. We would need a lot of support. Franchising concept is actually an interesting idea, thanks for the hint. I will definitely think about it.
I am excited for this idea and I am very much happy that there are new team members popping-up. We should not definitely miss on the ideas that we could turn into the viable business models. The cross-border coordination - Prague-London-Bonn - is to me appealing very much. I would suggest we start discussing the potential of this idea further more into the detail?

I think that there is a lot of people interested in startups here in Czech Republic, so I'm not sure if franchising is a good idea.
What do you think that is the most valuable added value? Isn't it in creating own network ?
Creating and developing a new network is definitely of a great added value. In which directions do you see the development of this network?
You need to have connections to investors (venture capitalist but also people with cheap money), mentors with their own businesses based on friendship, access to some kind of incubator for recruitment technicians and connections with professionals from different fields.
But the most important is to have core team of people ready to do the "job" with you.
I have already done some work on this.
Better to say: We have already done some work on this. :D
to gugux: Definitely agree that all the aspects you mentioned are necessary. Would you share with us your experience with tackling obstacles while building up the this concept? What would be your advice to us? Could you provide us with your www?
Hello, sorry for me to be away for a time.
First I have no website yet, but will be soon.
My point of view was to create compact team that members should fill holes in my knowledge and soft skills. It's not so easy to do and creating of open platform looks better.
There was problems about negotiation about shares and rules to fire out the team member if the team is not satisfied with his(her) work.
The second problem was to leave the theory and make move ... although its still little problem. :D
The last post was by me:D
I hope it isnt't. I am not sure how things are working here on ideaswatch but we should manage some virtual meeting. Who is in? ;)
Hi guys, sorry I was away for some time. The idea is definitely not dead. Whatabout a virtual meeting at the beginning of March - say preliminary 03.03.2012 Saturday. Give me pls some time to get back to you with official communication I am now with very limited access. I will contact you next Sunday as I will be back in the civilization.
Hello, I prefer to log in from linked in account now (I'm gugux and I'm the man who asked if the topic is death). :D Still have problems to be sure if I'm loged in here on ideaswatch :D
Question is if there is possible to see together in the real. ??? Where are you from ? I live in Prague.
To Jakub: If you are not logged in you should see now red warning above the textfield in discussion. If you want we can merge your gugux account with your LinkedIN account so your previous posts will belong to you. Should we do it?
Shouldnt be a problem. I live in Germany, in Bonn but originaly come from area around Brno. Prague seems to me as a good spot to meet. As promised before, I will get in touch with you tomorrow through an email.
I live in Osaka, Japan but originally come from Philadelphia, U.S.A. - but I walk through Prague whenever I go home. Will get in touch.
All jokes aside, since even very young Czech people seem to speak and write English very well, and thus, language-localization is not probably a "must" for the Czech Rep., why the need for a country-specific "Rocket Internet?"
We need a coordinator, who will gather contacts from people involved and plan a virtual meeting. Who will take this position?;)
I would be happy to coordinate - if we are going to make this multi-national. Also, I do not speak Czech, so if we could communicate in English, perhaps we would get this going faster, using G+ hangouts or SKYPE? Connect with me, those interested, osakasaul in SKYPE / osakasaul@gmail.com in gtalk/G+
I would love to join ... as project manager / investor / mentor / PR. Prague.. about.me/pavelcurda
